The field of astronomy has always held a particular fascination for me. Science has already proven that we are made of the same elements that make up our universe, stars, planets, galaxies and so on. I could speak of endless examples, but there is plenty of programming to illustrate this. What better or larger way to drive home the point that we are all connected. We are all One!

With all the information that astronomy can provide, and as fascinating as it all is, we have no clue as to how huge the universe actually is. We can barely fathom the size of our own galaxy. I am in awe of the fact that we are a part of all of this.

Advances in travel capabilities and communications are making our world increasingly smaller daily. Now don’t get me wrong– in no way, shape or form am I against technological advancement. By all means, we must forge ahead! But it would also benefit us greatly as a species to have our humanity catch up with our technology. This we can do now. There need not be any extensive research over countless hours, days, months or years. There need not be endless amounts of money and energy spent. For all it takes is the absolute knowing of the simple truth that We Are All One! This is a theme that you will find much repeated on this website. It is the essence of the cosmos. Everyone and everything are connected. We are not separate from each other. We are not separate from anything. We are not separate from God.

Every action we take, every word we speak touches those around us in countless ways. You need only pick up any daily paper or turn on any newscast as proof of this. Most of the time the proof is not too pretty. This can all be changed in a heartbeat. All that is required, indeed all that has ever been required is a choice. Want to change the world? As Gandhi has said “Be the change you wish to see”. From John Lennon’s song Imagine: ” I hope some day you will join us, then the world can live as One”. The message has been given to us countless times, from countless sources, We are All One. Every woman is our sister, every man our brother.
